I'm not sure it's more pollen from any given tree, but since the high temps went from high 50's to high 80's all at once, I think what's normally a more gradual drop from various species got compounded into one pollenpalooza.

"very high" pollen counts forecast for the next four days...pine and oak being the main culprits. Fortunately they have big fat grains of pollen that mess up cars but leave my poor nose alone.
