Look, i'm at least as much of a reduce, reuse, recycle guy as anyone i know. But this is just, well, ridiculous. It has to be someone mocking Ms. Black, doesn't it?
Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.

If it's a joke, the prankster(s) put a lot of time and energy into it. Those sad looking signs have popped up all over town.
