I don't get it

There are a number of apparently sane people in my town who think that having to show a driver's license while operating a motor vehicle on a public road represents the first step of encroaching tyranny, but don't seem to have anything to say when the government wants to decide who can get married to whom, or to intervene in private medical decisions between people, families, and doctors.

I'm sure there's a word for these armchair patriots, but i can't for the life of me think of it.

  • PAC2 list.

Apparently there's a whole school of glibertarian thought that claims drivers licensing is unconstitutional.
