And thanks to everyone who volunteered their time, labor, and cash to make last night's pageant a rousing success, to all of the judges and contestants whose creativity never ceases to amaze, and to all of the beaver fans who turned out on one scorcher of an evening to celebrate the beaver on behalf of the Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association.

We'll have a report on the fundraising efforts as soon as it's available.
