Another reason to love Duke
I'm pleased to say that Duke U has responded positively to our request and will be working with us to restore our sign and hopefully help us take steps to prevent a reoccurrence in the future.

Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.

I actually think Duke U is a pretty good corporate citizen in Durham. Duke students, sad to say, are often a very different story.
