Dinosaur update
Just heard back from Durham PD. Officer Little is working on this case. If you have any information, please call (him? her?) at 560-4582, ext. 29254.
Outside of Mike Shiflett's offer of a $100 reward for the return of Bronto's head, no word from the city on any reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the vandals.
On a somewhat related note, the small bit of graffiti that i reported to the city this morning has apparently been removed already. Credit to Durham One-Call and the HEAT Team. That's the kind of thing that i mean when i talk about "broken windows." In some ways, the theory has been embraced by parts of the city's bureaucracy, and works well. In others, not so much. Let's see some more consistency, and fewer excuses.
