West Coast blogging - day 10
What happened to the other days? Well, we've been traveling to the East and South Bay, attending a wedding and reception most of Sunday, and lacking in connectivity for most of that time. We're heading up the coast a little farther today, so maybe later i'll have a recap post with lots of photos.
Meanwhile, here's a sax man blowing cool under a walkway in Golden Gate Park. I don't think he had any shares in Lehman Brothers.

How strange to lack connectivity in one of the most wired parts of the country. Isn't it ironic? But maybe all the better to enjoy all the other crazy awesome stuff out here.
BTW -- I'm hoping to visit the camera obscura soon.

i've thought the same thing several times the past ten days. yesterday, walking through Los Gatos on the peninsula, i saw a guy sitting on the ground outside a public restroom in a park, with his laptop plugged into an outside outlet, doing something or other online. Apparently, Los Gatos has a municipal WiFi system. SF, alas, does not.
We're up in Fort Bragg tonite, staying at a motel that has WiFi, so i've gotten to upload another couple dozen photos, and write a blog post or two. We're heading back down the coast tomorrow, so probably no real blogging until Friday.
