Worst gig ever

Got an email from a friend announcing that, among several others, long-time WNEW-FM dj Scott Muni was being posthumously inducted into a broadcasters Hall of Fame in New York.

Scott's bio included this line:
Scott Muni began his broadcasting career in the United States Marine Corps in 1950, when he read "Dear John" letters over Radio Guam.

That had to suck.

Blast from the past

My friend Emmanuel Goldstein writes to tell me about his archive project from our days at WUSB. He's been posting broadcasts of his old show "The Voice of Long Island" up at the 2600.com website. The January 30, 1982 episode features one of my first audio projects. It's at around the 43:50 minute mark, and runs for about 6 minutes.

I can still remember slicing and splicing the tape to put that one together.

Pandora users?

I signed up back in May, i think. It's unlikely i've been listening more in July than in either may or June.

Is this 40 hour limit per month new, or did i just not notice it the first few months i had the account?

Because, frankly, it's a deal breaker for me with Pandora. Especially if it's a bait and switch thing.
