You sure about that? My time stamps on those photos are all in the 6:30 - 6:55 range, which would make them part of the wetlands show. I haven't even reviewed my images from after 7 pm yet.
I was backstage with them in the dressing room - so yes, I'm sure. Bupkiss used the $$$ on her tail during the essay portion, not wetlands ready wear. And Durga roe a beaver during evening wear in place of the tiger from wetlands wear. I can't explain the time stamp, but I can tell you what I saw!!!
I was one of Durga's handlers and she had gloves and handbags on her arms for the evening wear. Not sure what you saw, or thought you saw. Memory is a funny thing.
Durga rode her Tiger/Beaver out at the beginning of the pageant when the MC explained the programs in the Beaver's tail.
Remember all the great puns? I know I do. Go Durga! We decided Queen would be a demotion for Durga. She is already a goddess!

Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.

Actually, that's evening wear for Bupkiss and Durga. Dirty is in her wetlands ready wear.

Whoops - I didn't see Bupkiss Beavers grass skirt. That is her wetlands ready wear. She just repurposed the $$$ during her essay.

Also, Durga's ride had a tiger on one side and a beaver on the other.
Here's a rejected shot of Durga on the tiger about 30 seconds prior to the one i published.
