Quick drought note
While i have a few minutes.
there's a 50% chance of rain tonight and an 80% chance on Wednesday. I like those numbers. The ground's still pretty wet, so a lot of that rain should end up in the reservoirs.
A minor disturbing note: The first couple of days in February have seen the highest daily demand since Stage IV restrictions went into effect in December. A trend? Let's hope not. Demand yesterday was at 96.6% of last Feb's average demand. We'll need to do better than a 3.4% year over year reduction in use to make a longterm difference in our consumption habits.
