Say nothing for the war in Iraq and every other miserable failure of this administration, and this Supreme Court decision illustrates just how much elections matter. If the Court were to lose one more reasonable justice during Bush's term (such as 80-something Stevens), I don't want to know what kind of chilling decisions this court might render.
