Fullsteam!
Opens today with a series of private parties for friends, families, investors, and kewl kids during the afternoon, and to the general public at 6:14 pm. There's something significant about that time; perhaps Quentin Tarantino will use it in his next flick.
Durham faves Wigg Report take the stage at 7 or so.
Drink up.
UPDATE: Sean posts that the bar pushed through 17 kegs last night. By my count that's a bit more than 2000 pints, accounting for some spillage.
Not a bad 1st night, i would think.

Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.

So excited!
The Only Burger truck is going to be there too.
Did you try their brew at Tylers?

Yup. Also the IPA and Basil Farmhouse ales are on tap at James Joyce.
If you go to Asheville, Fullsteam is available at the Thirsty Monk.

I think your math is a little off...

15 gallons a keg, 8 pints a gallon is 120 pints/keg.
Times 17 is 2040.
Figure 5% spillage? Still, roughly 2000 pints give or take.

Oh, i see. That was a typo.
Fixed now.

Thanks for the brew last night. All five I've had were remarkably good beers for the first industrial batch. I have high hopes for them.

I have to constantly remind myself that it's a brewery with a tasting room, and not a bar or brewpub at this point. It'll get there, though.
