Tents went up at the old ballpark last night for tomorrow's Beer Festival. Yay!
Weather looks pretty perfect too.

Speaking of beer, they Sweetwater Girls were at the bar last night giving away samples of 420 pale ale. Has there ever been a blander micro brew on the market?

420 was actually quite decent until around 2 years ago, when the brewery reformulated the recipe. They made adjustments to appeal to a broader variety of palates (translation: they removed all of the flavor & aroma hops). And yes, now it sucks.

Yes. Many. Most of what New Belgium makes, for starters. And I think Brooklyn Brewing Company has been mostly overrated for a while.
Mark is correct that 420 used to be better, though my understanding is that reformulation had to do with the hop shortage more than anything else (a buddy of mine used to work at the brewery.)
Their IPA is good if you really, really like Simcoe hops.
