Yes, they do apparently leave that out. Also, the the dangers of speed. Yielding to pedestrians in a crosswalk. And what those funny colored lights mean.
Saw one of my neighbors this morning wearing one of those leg braces that indicates recent knee surgery. She was crossing Roxboro at Knox in the crosswalk and a car stopped for her.
Four others didn't, but 20% compliance with the law is a start, no?
good lord, i've been terrified of crossing the street over the last couple of months since i broke my ankle...knowing I cant hobble fast enough for these jerkoffs
Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.

20% is a good starting point! I've yet to have anybody stop for me at the crosswalk across Roxboro at Lynch. That'd be a 100% failure rate! Wheeee!

Wow, this week I've stopped traffic, including cabs and buses, on busy multi-lane streets just by setting one foot in the crosswalk.
OH WAIT! I'm in San Francisco, not Durham. Oops.
