I'm imagining the 24/7 Fox News outrage had some Democratic backbencher called George Bush a liar during one of his addresses to Congress back in 2003, during the run up to the Iraq war.

I was thinking all morning how much I wish someone had had the balls to stand up and call Bush a liar back then.
That Republicans (OK, a Republican) is stirred to such outburst by what (in the big picture) is a relatively inconsequential detail of domestic policy, while the Democrats failed utterly to be similarly moved by lies that took us into a freaking war is a pretty damning commentary on both established parties.
