Troika
Troika's got their schedule posted. The festival (which really should reclaim its old "Durham" name) is November 6-8 at various locations around town, including Broad St. Cafe, Duke Coffeehouse, Alivia's, a special Friday night event at the Carolina Theatre, and the new Pinhook.
Of special interest to me - younger daughter's Durham debut at Alivia's on Saturday night. I'll be the geezer with the video camera.

Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.

I still think someone needs to put together a smaller scale renegade Festival that ACTUAL LOCAL BANDS...
