Doggone frightening
Republican strategist Carter Wrenn of Raleigh says what worries him aren't the registration numbers themselves.
"If people are registering at that rate for the Democrats, you've got to feel that the swing voters and independent voters are probably tending toward the Democrats too," he said. "That's doggone frightening."
I suppose that depends on what exactly it is that keeps you up late at night.
For me, Sarah Palin in the White House is pretty scary. Barack Obama? Not so much.

Then again, Bush is a Republican, and we see how well that's worked out. I guess anyone has enough experience to be president if you lower your standards enough.
