Well now that we have a professional warrior class, I am not surprised at this apparent disconnect with the true cost of sacrifice.
I don't agree with the decision to go into Iraq. But this photographs are incredibly tasteless.
From the conversations I've attempted to have with Republicans over the years (including my boss at work and some relatives in Chicago), the same world view comes in: "These (bad) things happen to other people. What, me worry?"
Oh, I see the MSM once again was "covering the story" as they usually do. Not.
Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.
