Shooting the Bull
Neighborhood activist Cheryl Sweeney Shiflett joins Kevin and i tonight on Shooting the Bull. 7:30 - 8:00 pm on WXDU, 88.7 fm. We'll talk about some of the delays associated with spending 1996 bond money on improvements to Northgate park, among other topics.
By the way, check out 'XDU's spiffy new web site. The link to listen online is now on the front page, in the top right corner.

As a former WXDU DJ, I'm really bummed that they took down all of the 'XDU history that was on the old site. Some of us still reflexively tune to 90.7, the station's Durham home before WNCU took over the transponder frequency.

As a current WXDU DJ, I'd like to alleviate your concerns by directing you to FAQ #10: Where can I learn more about the station's history?
We did our best to not lose old content in the migration, but these things can be tricky to manage, so feel free to email our General Manager, Luke Riservato, at gm@wxdu.org if you spot anything else awry.
Thanks!
