Just curious
Not that i'm complaining or anything, but i think it's curious that gas is 20 cents a gallon cheaper in the Outer Banks than it is in the Triangle.

Wow.. If I recall correctly, it's usually a lot more expensive.

That's my recollection as well. Especially with so many people coming from up north to the OBX, and, in theory, it being that much more expensive to get gas to the islands. I paid $3.49 at a Hess station, and i saw gas at the Kangaroo for $3.45. In fact, it dropped about 5 or 6 cents just in the 3 days we were there.
