Troika's annual "Pin Projekt" fundraiser is happening Friday night
, the 16th, at Broad Street Cafe
. Twenty bowling pins have been turned into artworks by local musicians, and they're up for auction. I bought one a few years ago and i'm looking to add to my collection. Proceedings kick off at 7 pm. Five bucks gets you in, and all proceeds go to support the Troika Music Festival, scheduled this year to take place in November, right after the election. Maybe we'll have something good to celebrate?
The press release says you can preview the pins at the website. If you can find them there, leave me a note in the comments, OK? Otherwise, get there early on Friday
to have the time to check out the art before you bid.
Thanks to Alicia for correcting my error. The Pin Projekt auction is Friday
night, May 16th. You can view some of the pins here
