New York City?

Got back late last night from a fabulous rain-soaked weekend in New York, via a 12 hour drive along the even more fabulous and rains soaked I-95. After i finish wallowing in nostalgia and cleaning up my inbox at work, i'll have some pics of the old country, thoughts on why walking through Brooklyn neighborhoods is a more calming experience than walking through Durham neighborhoods, some samples of Little Ricky's thoughts on Iraq, and some commentary from the mailbox on the news from late last week that Durham City Council wants to take steps to streamline the Development Review Process because, heaven forbid, it now takes months (months, i tells ya!) to get a new development approved in Durham. Remind me the next time the reservoirs empty out because we've gone 4 months without rains what a stupid fucking idea that is, OK?
