Well, actually, it's not. According to Durham County voter registration data, it's only 57% white. Why would someone argue that a neighborhood that's over 40% non-white is "almost all white?"

Because maybe the white people take pains not to make eye-contact with all the non-whites, perhaps?
My soon-to-be ex husband would often refer to being "invisible-manned." As in "I saw [insert name of some white person he'd met a few times] at Kroger and she totally invisible-manned me."
