Way back years ago, I worked at Kinko's, and there were some Pentecostals from this exact church also working there. They kept asking the non-Pentecostals to come to their church, so one Wednesday night we did, and this particular pastor preached that night. He would quote a bible passage, then make an inference. One passage said that the beauty in women is their long hair. He looked out at the congregation and said, "It doesn't say men should have long hair," and the congregation tittered. He quoted a passage saying that the wisdom in men is in their gray hair, then looked at the congregation and said, "I see a lot of wisdom here."
Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.

Actually, it does.

"Nor shall you cut your hair roundwise: nor shave your beard."
So, no bowl cuts. That's good advice in general.
