We get press releases

From the City of Durham:
Durham, N.C. – As construction progresses on Durham’s new and exciting Performing Arts Center (DPAC), there are still opportunities for companies to get in on the action by purchasing naming rights for highly visible areas of the facility, including the building itself.

“The highest profile and most valuable naming rights opportunities are still available, including the stage, the performance hall, and the DPAC building itself,” Durham Mayor William V. “Bill” Bell said. “This is a great chance for a corporation or business to boost its visibility while supporting the arts and culture in the Durham and the Triangle.”

Already, Capitol Broadcasting Company and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Carolina each have acquired naming rights at the DPAC. Capitol Broadcasting purchased the rights to the DPAC plaza and Blue Cross/Blue Shield purchased the rights to the DPAC atrium lobby. Capitol Broadcasting acquired the rights to the plaza for $300,000 per year for a term of between 13 to 20 years, while Blue Cross/Blue Shield paid $1 million ($100,000 per year) for the exclusive rights to the atrium lobby for 10 years. These sponsors received a package of benefits that includes company signage in the plaza and lobby, advertising in Playbill Magazine and on the DPAC website, and VIP tickets and parking passes to DPAC events.

You know, folks, we've still got the naming rights for the ever popular Duke Park traffic circle available as well. Several thousand vehicles drive past the intersection of Glendale and Markham every single day. Why wait for a touring production of Avenue Q to come through Durham for people to be reminded of who you are? Click here for all the details.
