Whoa, that's some serious hippie-churchin' they got there in Boone! Ancient Greeks, vaguely bashing W, love it.
I also love the permanence implied by the laser printed sign...makes the "regular" signs seem that much more like the daily menu at Cook Out (peach cobbler shakes are in season, BTW).
This appears to be regular feature of Unitarian Universalist Churches. There's one in Hillsborough on Old NC 10 that have featured in the past, but probably not in the last 6 or 8 months.
I've got one more from my Boone trip that i'll be showing next week.
But, yeah, mountains and hippies. They go together like rice and beans.
Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.
