Durham PD report on the Duke lacrosse case
I think it was Kevin who wrote a short while back that he doesn't often link to pieces in many of the other Durham blogs, because pretty much, if you're reading his blog, you've probably already read what the rest of us have to say.
Based on referrer logs, comment cross-pollination, and anecdotal evidence, he's probably right.
But there's another reason to link back to good posts in the Durham blogosphere, and that's search engine results. If someone googles "Durham Police Department" and "Duke Lacrosse" to learn about the recent city report analyzing the Department's actions in last year's case, they really should find Gary's analysis in the first page of results.
And that's why i'm linking to it here.
Go read it.

Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.
