I've been thinking a lot about English Folk Rock from the 70's lately. I was wondering if the deal was the USA got Nashville and the UK got bands like Strawbs.
Oh, it's not unfair in the least. I was just trying to take into account native influences and the like.
Be sure to click on the "mellotron" clip on the YouTube carousel after "Benedictus" plays. Hard to believe people ever played a keyboard consisted entirely of tape loops of orchestras hitting notes.
