No kidding. I try watching the local news every now and again and I just end up wanting to kill kittens by the end of it.
It's just bad.

A few years ago, a little girl went missing down in Fayetteville and some jack@ss reporter from NBC17 was at the grandparents house when they got news that her raped and mutilated body had been found. The reporter ran up and shoved her microphone in the grandfather's tear-soaked face and asked "you just found out that your granddaughter's body was found, how does that make you feel?". I haven't watched local news since then.
