I'd taken some pictures myself, but have been slack lately about putting them up. This time I did help more with decoration by buying 4 poinsettias and putting them out there. They stayed long enough for me to water them once, then disappeared (not all at once: one went, then the other three_. Arrrr....
It looks like a neighbor has been taking them in at night and putting them back out during the day, which is more than I would have done. Just another reason to live in Duke Park. :)
Since 1949, Durhamites have slept soundly, secure in the knowledge that, in our town, erection can be depended upon. Now, thanks to the power of the internets, we can spread that security all over the world.

Well shut my mouth: the poinsettias magically reappeared. Maybe someone was worried they'd get too cold....
